Collaboration with Tomas Hernandez for Bienal Latinoamericana de Joyería

As the world went digital during the COVID19 pandemic, a series of digital jewels was proposed for the Bienal Latinoamericana de Joyería (Online event organized by Joyeros Argentinos) in collaboration with multimedia designer Tomas Hernandez. 




Starting from 3D objects recognizable in the Colombian popular material culture like flag holders, city logos, and politicians, we developed these pieces using digital modeling tools and computer graphics software. The pieces were ready to be manufactured using 3D printing and traditional jewelry techniques if the buyer would want to have them physical.
