The workshops in this series explore a wide range of textile techniques to create objects of different scales, with a strong focus on repurposing waste streams. Participants will explore basic textile concepts such as interlacing, rhythm, texture, and structure as methods of fabrication. 

Learning objectives:
  • Understand and apply textile principles in the creation of functional or decorative objects
  • Identify and repurpose abundant waste streams through textile techniques
Minimum Time Commitment: 4 hrs
Contents can be tailored to the specific needs of your organization, including the analysis of waste streams to be involved in the creative process.
