Fashion pieces for dancers/performers @surmarina_ and @kamillegutierrezkuruz upcycled from second-hand garments collected in #callebandera, a used-clothes market in downtown Santiago de Chile.
Chile is an important country in the fashion waste global trade route receiving tons of textile waste per year that on the one hand benefit alternative economies, and on the other create notable environmental problems (see waste clothes accumulating in the Atacama desert).
